Corruption in the AFC `C` licence holder course alleged

IMPHAL, April 28: Recently the Asian Football Confederation announced the AFC `C` licence holder course results. Of the 22 coaches who participated, 17 passed, three in pro and two failed. The course was organised by All Manipur Football Association under the guidelines of AIFF and AFC at Khuman Lampak sports complex.
Syed Rashim who did not pass the course has alleged that the examination was not conducted in the right way and that there was corruption. Incidentally, Syed Rashim has been a successful coach for the last five years and who is also working as technical official in the All Manipur Football Association.
According to Syed Rashim, S Ekendra who was the director technical AMFA AFC `A` licence holder, conducted the course. At the end of the course, Ekendra conducted a examination and in this examination the questions were asked from lesson no.2 whereas only lesson no. 1 was taught during the course. As a result of which none of candidates could answer the full paper while some answered nothing at all.
Rashim alleged that some candidates who had performed poorly in the written exam as also in the practicals passed the course.
Syed Rashim participated in the BC Roy trophy as players, and worked as coach for two years in YWC of Thambalkhong, four years in AIM from 3rd division to Super division three times league champions and is also coach of ASSA of Sangaiyumpham.
