IMPHAL, Jan 12: The NSS units-I and III, of Lilong Haoreibi College, Lilong, has collected a sum of Rs. 2,030, from the public on January 11 and 12 to be contributed to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, for the tsunami victims. The amount has been handed over to the state liaison officer, NSS Cell, government of Manipur, for onward transmission to the NSS regional centre, Guwahati.

The Pioneer Chess Academy has also condoled the death of innumerable people due to the killer Tsunami. A two minutes silence was observed by the academy during its executive meeting held yesterday.
