SCORE        Weekly Competitions

 

  *  Students of Class VI to XII are welcome to join SCORE Weekly Competitions (CHAYOLGI WAHANG TARA). Competitions are conducted class wise and also for almost every subject wise. Questions are prepared strictly based on the pre-circulated syllabus.

 

   * This project has specially been designed to encourage, to clear the basic fundamentals and to train the students at the lower stage, for their success in future.

 

   * This is the right way and the right platform to train students for their confidents.

   

   * They are exposed to public for personality building and correct decision making.

    

    * Education is costly and we finance the brilliant students through this weekly competitions and attractive cash prizes. 

 

    * Just answer 10 oral questions (English/Manipuri) correct and earn Rs. 10,000/-

 

   * A student can participate in the competition for unlimited number of times. However, a winner of Rs.10,000/- can appear only 25 times in an academic year and he can earn up-to 25 X Rs. 10,000/- = Rs. 2,50,000/- for his higher studies.  

 

*Application forms are unlimited and may be collected and submitted on any day/any time. The prescribed application forms and Subject & Syllabus are available at SCORE and on this net. The duly filled application forms along with the entry fee may be submitted by hand or by post to SCORE, porompat, Post Box No.70.   The entry fee my be deposited by cash at the office counter/MRB, Porompat, Imphal, or by crossed Cheque/DD drawn in favour of SCORE, payable at MRB, Porompat, Imphal.

 

                                            

 

RULES & REGULATIONS OF THE WEEKLY COMPETITION

    

     Entry fee is Rs. 200/- ( Rupees two hundred ) only.

     On the first come first serve basis, a first batch of two hundred to three hundred applicants will be called for the first phase competition and another batch in the next week and so on, till everybody gets the chance in the competitions.

 

     In every batch, first 20 to 30 toppers will be selected after a written screening test. The questions are written in English only. The number of questions to be answered, marks for each question and time allotted are written on the question paper. Candidates are eligible to appear unlimited number of times after applying again. The selected students from the tests may be trained for a week at SCORE for the final test. Boarding is provided for the needy students during this training week.

 

     On the last day of the training week, a final written test will be done and the first top five will be asked to take their chairs on the stage for the final competition.

 

     Only 10 questions (bilingual in English & Manipuri) will be asked orally to all of them and the student who presses the answer button first will have to answer the question.

  

     It is to be noted that the decision of the Competition Master will be final in case of any dispute. 

Final Competition.

 

      There are only 10 questions.

 

      The questions will be displayed one by one on the computer monitors provided in front of the competitors. Then the one who clicks the answer button first will give the answer for the question. The same procedure will follow for every question. Only 30 sec. is the maximum time allotted to answer a question and if not answered within the time, the Competition Master goes to the next question.

 

1st Round.-- First question carries - Rs. 500/-, if answered

                    correct. If wrong, he will be awarded 0.

 

2nd Round. – The next question carries – Rs. 500/- , if wrong 0.

 

3rd Round. – It carries – Rs.500/-, if wrong 0.

 

4th Round. – It carries – Rs. 500/-, if wrong 0.  

 

 5th Round, - It carries – Rs. 500/-, if wrong 0.

 

6th Round, - It carries – Rs. 500/-, if wrong 0.

 

7th Round, - It carries – Rs. 1000/-, if wrong 0.

 

8th Round, - It carries – Rs. 1500/-, if wrong deduction of Rs. 500/-.

 

9th Round, - It carries – Rs. 2000/-, if wrong deduction of Rs. 1000/-.

 

10th Round,- It carries – Rs. 2500/-, if wrong deduction of Rs 1500/-.
